Yesterday, we gathered again at the Dutch Innovation Factory for another edition of Factory Game Drinks. Although slightly quieter than previous editions, the intimate setting encouraged in-depth conversations and made it easier for visitors to join the showcases.

The room was buzzing with energy, with a strong focus on innovation and home-grown talent. Several highlights stood out:

  • Co-op innovation: Strong demos of the co-op games Taskfall and .synth_protocol.
  • Emerging talent: Inspiring projects from Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the nerve-racking game Don't Blink by students from HKU.
  • Alumni in the spotlight: Wonderful to see GameLab alumnus Ajoeb Gaasim again with his latest work: Gnarp'sHei$t and Down To Clown?. A great example of how talent continues to develop within our community!

Alongside the games, it was valuable to catch up with familiar industry faces, including representatives of Liquid Ice Studios, Engine Software and the Benelux Games Promotional Initiative.

Thanks to the organisers, GameLab, DGA, SIM and the Dutch Innovation Community, for supporting this breeding ground for game development in Zoetermeer. On to the next one!
