The EXPO at the Dutch Innovation Factory was another wonderful celebration, featuring impressive games from the Game Development minor (GDS), Innovative Development (ID) projects and contributions from GameLab.
A strong jury consisting of none other than Alex Kentie, Martine Spaans and Ben Schrijversassessed the Game Development minor's games.
The games were of a high standard! Azuma's Sacrifice ultimately won: a platformer with something of Silksong about it.
Thread of Corruption, a mobile game in which you draw shapes to fight enemies, and Fiddlehead, in which you platform towards the surface as a germinating seed, also impressed.
GameLab showcased its serious game projects at this well-attended EXPO: GymSim, the sports hall simulator; InnovA58 for Rijkswaterstaat; and TrustPort for CSyLL.
There were many more student projects to see, including an impressive replica of the Las Vegas Sphere.
