Breda Game City, incubator B'Game and BUas organised Breda Game Drinks. Jeroen Derwort from GameLab attended to network and view projects by students and incubator companies.
The gathering was well attended and will now take place monthly. No fewer than 10 projects were available to play in the showcase. Alongside games, a tool currently being developed for game developers was also demonstrated.
B'Game is a fully fledged incubator where emerging games companies can find a home. Since Dutch Game Garden disappeared from Utrecht, this role has become even more important, both for Breda's ecosystem and for the Netherlands as a whole.
The incubator is housed in a former police station. The interrogation cells are still there: "This is where we hold our publisher meetings," jokes Tim Baijens, the incubator's business developer and co-founder of Stitch Heads.
