GameLab attended Tech Festival 2026 with its arcade cabinet. GameLab assistant Tom Peck represented the lab and welcomed many enthusiastic visitors keen to try the games.
The arcade cabinet offered an accessible introduction to GameLab: take a seat, discover a game and play it yourself. The players' enthusiasm showed how games spark curiosity and bring people together.
These encounters are valuable for GameLab. After all, playing a game can be the beginning of an interest in making one. Behind every game lie ideas, design, technology and plenty of experimentation. Someone enjoying the arcade cabinet today may want to know how to build something like it tomorrow.
Thanks to Tom for representing GameLab and to all the visitors who came to play. Perhaps we met a few future game developers at Tech Festival 2026!
