What a fantastic and inspiring edition of INDIGO 2026 at the WTC in Rotterdam.
It was wonderful to attend this two-day event again. INDIGO repeatedly demonstrates its importance to the Dutch games industry. It is the place to connect, network and see the sector's future in action.
This time, more GameLab students and alumni attended than ever before.
For me, the highlight was seeing my GameLab students' talent on the showcase floor. I am enormously proud of the teams I have had the opportunity to encourage and coach.
.synth_protocol (GameLab / The Hague University of Applied Sciences): they made history as the very first team to represent The Hague University of Applied Sciences at INDIGO. A milestone!
Taskfall (GameLab / InHolland): wonderful to see this team presenting its hard work and creativity to the industry.
CataMiner (Fontys): as this team's coach, it is fantastic to witness their growth up close and see them shine on a stage like this.
The passion, innovation and professionalism shown by these young makers inspire tremendous confidence in the future of our games industry.
Thank you to the organisers, visitors and, of course, the students for this successful day. On to the next one!
