Prospective students could visit The Hague University of Applied Sciences during its open day on 3 February 2024, both at the main building in The Hague and at the Dutch Innovation Factory in Zoetermeer. GameLab opened for the occasion to offer a look behind the scenes.
Zoetermeer is home to the Information & Security Management, Advanced Data Science & AI and Innovative Development specialisations. Games education is also represented through the Game Development & Simulations graduation specialisation, the Game Development minor and, of course, GameLab.
Alongside gathering information, visitors to GameLab could drive a lap in F1 2023 using a simulator. The fastest lap times were captured in a custom-built program and projected onto a screen. Most found controlling an F1 car in such a realistic setup harder than expected.
If you were unable to visit, you are always welcome to ask questions. We are happy to explain what GameLab does and whether games education in Zoetermeer would suit you.
