At the April 2025 DGA Network Lunch in Utrecht, visitors discovered a game being developed at GameLab: USB-BOT by Ajoeb Gaasim, also known as KingKelpo.

In this 2D puzzle platformer, you play a USB stick searching for the other end of its cable. Along the way, you solve puzzles and encounter enemies such as a dangerous pencil sharpener. The game uses pixel art and is full of humour.

The DGA Network Lunch is an ideal opportunity for game developers to show their games to fellow developers and receive feedback. USB-BOT attracted plenty of praise. Visitors offered useful suggestions, and one enthusiastic player also discovered a new bug.

With the release of USB-BOT on Steam planned for June, this was a good time to show the game.

GameLab regularly attends the DGA Network Lunch, which is a useful way for students to network with the games industry.
