The second playtest of the semester took place in the Game Basement. This time there were no GameLab games, but all students had the opportunity to try the GDS minor's games.

Most games had made considerable progress since the first playtesta few weeks ago. It promises to be an exciting exhibition. The team behind racing game Radial Overdrive, now working on wave shooter synth_protocol, made the strongest impression. However, as they already won the previous exhibition, they will not compete for the prizes this time.

The jury is taking shape. Alex Kentie and Ben Schrijvers have agreed to assess the student teams during the exhibition on 23 January. Both have impressive industry track records.

Ben Schrijvers worked at Guerrilla Games for over 17 years, and Alex Kentie founded Gamistry. Ben Schrijvers attended this playtest to gain a better understanding of the participants.
