A new GameLab teaching period has begun. Alongside Final Arena (formerly Animape) and GymSim, two new projects have started: an indie game about a lost USB stick trying to find its way home, and Talents.Events by VirtualTalents, a web platform that uses gamification to get people active.

Although the new lab spaces are still being renovated, students can already come to GameLab to start their projects. GameLab is the only lab that is partly ready. Space is a little tight, but we are managing. Once the new labs are finished from 12 September, we will have attractive, bright spaces.

Three students have started: Milano Hoogvliets will work on Talents.Events, Turan Gulraj will continue Rijkswaterstaat’s InnovA58, and Ajoeb Gaasim will work on his indie game about the USB stick as part of Game Development & Simulations (GDS).

Two students who started before the holidays are also continuing their projects: Erik Straathof is continuing his graduation internship with GymSim, and Robin van Taarling is continuing his indie VR title Final Arena (formerly Animape).

So there is plenty happening at GameLab again this semester. Curious about these projects or our other activities? Drop by or contact us.
