Policymakers from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management visited the labs at the Dutch Innovation Factory. The visit was organised by Schelte van Deventer and Peter Roelofsma of CSyLL.
The visitors were treated to lunch before touring the Dutch Innovation Community. Jordan Peters gave an inspiring presentation about Infinity, and Wouter Pijnacker Hordijk showed the inspiration lab.
Jeroen Derwort introduced GameLab, after which students Eric Bull and Ajoeb Gaasim demonstrated their projects. There was considerable interest in Eric's work on Rijkswaterstaat's InnovA58. Ajoeb is making a platformer, which was also well received. After today, it has probably gained a few more wishlist additions.
Peter Roelofsma shared CSyLL's vision, after which students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences presented the CSyLL SOC/SIEM.
CSyLL researchers Niek Jan van den Hout, Anouk Vos and Don Eijndhoven, MSc then led a cybersecurity risk management and governance game, played by our visitors in two teams.
An interesting discussion followed about using risk management games for different purposes, for example across various sectors.
