In January, students from the European Project Semester (EPS) minor presented their game prototype for the National Videogame Museum. This week, they returned to present their project to all the museum's stakeholders.
The museum is enthusiastic about the students' results, achieved after six months of work. Their game helps visitors get to know the interactive collection better. They presented it together with their research and conclusions.
The concept is well developed, including an avatar called Blip that visitors can customise in a gender-neutral way. As the students working on the assignment came from across Europe, some had already returned to their home countries. The remaining three delivered the presentation.
The final game will be developed by a professional serious games company. The students' ideas will be used to give the project a flying start. GameLab is very likely to be involved in this stage again.
For the students, this meeting was a tremendous compliment to their work.
